Colonial Brewery offers respite for all those foundering in the great wine lake of the South West. We provide respite for the weary traveller, serving hearty meals in our brasserie and a range of outstanding ales at the bar - all in an atmosphere that will encourage you to linger. And worry not- we also offer a selection of excellent local wines for those misguided few who have yet to realise the pleasures of fine beer.

At Colonial Brewing youll never find any half measures. Our Margaret River brewhouse is fully equipped with the very latest in sophisticated brewing technology, allowing us to faithfully recreate some of the worlds most outstanding and well-loved traditional ales. Using recipes that are tried and true, the beer styles we have selected to include in our range all have very long and distinguished pedigrees.



Each beer represents what we consider to be the finest of its genre; created and refined over decades by Europes master brewers. Handmade in small batches under stringently controlled conditions, we are able to consistently produce beers of great distinction, proudly paying homage to the ancient and learned craft of the Brewers Guild.

Its not just about drinking beer. You can stretch your legs or just stretch out on the lawn. Everyones welcome to fire up one of our barbecues and partake of your own picnic if you prefer. What we offer is warm, old-style hospitality, entertainment and the perfect place to pause and reflect on the natural beauty of our Margaret River region.

We are immensely proud of our brewery and our beers offer tastings and informative tours for those who wish to learn a little more. Leave the youngsters to explore our adventure playground, or get up close and personal with our team of majestic Clydesdale draft horses. We guarantee to stifle the whining of all, young and old, who are fatigued by too much driving, too little fun, and way too parched a throat. So we encourage you to visit and partake of a well deserved ale or two (in sensible moderation of course!), and our superb facilities.

If you really want to have a merry time, we have a free shuttle bus service. It runs every half hour, every weekend and public holiday, to and from the Margaret River Visitor Centre.
